If Oden was playing he probably would have been in foul trouble in the first five minutes.

yea agreed on the officiating. all three of the "big" guys were in foul trouble relatively early and while the team has a lot of talent ball handling and other little things still need improved. they had pretty good control of the game then let it get away from them and a program like UNC will exploit that but still happy with the way they kept fighting till the end. come oden this team will not only have just oden but a central figure to improve the whole team and depth as well......which is kinda scary.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the officiating. Hansborough got away with a couple walks down low at key points in the second half. If we had Oden, their inside game would have been shut down. Oden alters every shot that is put up in the paint.

I agree. I have to get the football mentality out of my mind. In my opinion, a game like tonight probably just helped us win the Big 10, as it will pay dividends in the future. Especially without Oden! Watch out! :biggrin:

Why are people saying "well if we had Oden..."? Had Oden played, he would've gotten ejected within the first 12 seconds of the game. The 'don't touch TylerH or die' rule applies to everyone not named Shelden Williams.

Another great game for Lewis obviously, not so much for Conley. Hopefully we see them again.

'overrated'

the overrated chant is one of the most annoying and overused chants in all of sports. must have missed it, i was just going to give the carolina fans props for not using it. i've seen games where one team is rated a spot or two higher in the polls and when they lose on the road the other team's fans use the chant. this instance is pretty bad as i believe carolina was favored by 8 and most OSU fans would have admitted before the game that the #1 ranking wasn't really earned. not to mention they were playing w/o Oden.
