care to place a wager on which team’s opponents has the higher points scored per game average (again, points scored is how the winner is determined so it’s kinda important)?

Hint, it ain’t yours.

And somehow, the Big XII still puts out better offenses than the likes of freaking Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mizzou, etc.

Congrats on being the top offense in a league lacking very innovative offenses.

i agree, this was a VERY down Alabama team.
And even in the worst season they’ve had in a decade they were still better across the board than anyone OU played in the Big XII.

Oh yeah?? Then why is it that Texass scored 38 on you and only 27 against us???? You rag on the Big XII for not having any quality competition, yet the whorns came very close to upsetting you.

remind me again which defense that was against.

oh that’s right, Baylor.
and averaging an entire foot more than LSU averages per play.
against that juggernauts like Baylor!

ho.
lee.
shit.

i can’t believe they let y’all stay in college instead of the NFL with a squad that does that!

Well considering BU allows fewer yards per play than LSU, I'd feel more confident about us moving the ball at will against you. Especially considering we beat them twice and if you can beat a team that qualifies for an NY6 bowl twice, I'd say you have a very solid chance at winning one or two playoff games.

wait, wtf does last season have to do with the price of rubber dog shit in China?

not a fucking thing.

Don’t worry about us at RB.
They grow on trees down here. We’ll be ok.

"Rubber dog shit in China"??? Did you steal that line from an old Western flick or something?

Well anyways, my point was OU has playoff experience and will come out focused and ready against your Tigers. For a team that's been to the playoff before and with a quarterback that's 3-1 as a starter in the playoff, I'd be careful to underestimate these Sooners as they will come out mad and motivated considering no one is giving them any chance whatsoever in believing they can win the Peach Bowl and advance to the Championship.

I agree tOSU would be the best team we’ve faced all year.
but unlike Oklahoma, we’ve actually played several teams with talent already.

and since none of them has even beaten us, let alone blown us out of the fucking water, i’m confident it would be a pretty good game between us and them.

you on the other hand appear to be a scared little bitch that is terrified of actual competition.
and considering teams like fucking Baylor, Iowa State, and TCU gave you everything you could possibly want, i understand why you shitting yourself.

Well just because I think TOSU would beat OU doesn't mean it will actually occur. Anything can happen.

Back in 2000, Florida State was far superior to us in terms of sheer overall talent all across the board. But OU was able to beat them pretty soundly. Now of course it's a stretch to say that squad was better than 2019 Ohio State, but I think the Sooners could hang pretty tough with the Buckeyes and maybe, just maybe, they could pull off an upset.

And yes...BU, ISU and TCU gave OU everything they wanted. But OU still went 4-0 against those teams. The Big XII is tough, ask your players why they had such a hard time putting away Texass.

And since you seem to know everything about how OU and LSU matchup, why not come on over to Dirtburglars.com and give us some insight as to why you think LSU could win this game so easily. You're more than welcome to hop on. It's a little bit awkward that we're having this discussion on an Ohio State board because they are just laughing their tails off at our expense. I guarantee you'll have a much broader discussion with a bunch of LSU and OU fans rather than just you and me on here.

Oklahoma would be the 3rd best offense in this league that lacks innovation.
just saying.

K-state only scored 24 on Texas. Y'all must have kicked the shit out of them then......oh wait.

wait, i thought it was total defense that you loved so much.
now it's a ridiculously useless stat like "yards per play"

OK, your QB did well playing for someone else.
What's your head coach's playoff record?

want to bring up that 2003 team that ESPN was sucking off as possibly the bestest team evar?

ask your why no one from that tough ass Big XII has won a title in over a decade.

i don't recall ever making a prediction about the outcome of this game.
just pointing out the fallacy of your belief that your team is some magical mixture of the Steel Curtain plus the Greatest Show on Turf.

Only the 3rd best??? Yeah right. I can assure you that OU would have the best rushing attack in your conference.

K-state only scored 24 on Texas. Y'all must have kicked the shit out of them then......oh wait.

I believe my argument was that OU allowed fewer points against them than LSU did. What does the amount of points KSU scored against them have to do with anything???

wait, i thought it was total defense that you loved so much.

Well since you've bragged that LSU has a higher ranked total offense than OU, figured I'd counter with the "OU has the higher ranked defense" statement since we're arguing about which team is better based on overall stat rankings. But hey, at least LSU ranks higher in kickoff average. You see what I did there?

OK, your QB did well playing for someone else.

Better question is what is your head coach's record against Jalen? LSU is not one of the teams that have beaten us in the playoff. And since we're talking about the past, OU wasn't raped 29-0 by Bama last year. In fact, we've never been blown out at all since Riley became our head coach.

Well considering Jason White was playing with an injury, we probably would have won the national title game against you if it weren't in New Orleans.

ask your why no one from that tough ass Big XII has won a title in over a decade.

And neither has LSU. What's your point?

i don't recall ever making a prediction about the outcome of this game.
just pointing out the fallacy of your belief that your team is some magical mixture of the Steel Curtain plus the Greatest Show on Turf.

And speaking of fallacy, I don't recall ever saying I believed the Sooners were a mix of the 1970s Steelers/1999-2001 Rams. Although I do believe the Sooners could knock off the Tigers in Atlanta.

Jalen's career passing stats against LSU (2 games)

21/43 (48.8%) ; 290 yards (145 per game average) ; 1 TD ; 1 Int

quaking in my boots at facing that guy.
I mean no fucking way in hell did having the best defense in the country both years he was a starter have anything to do with his "track record".

But Jalen is 2-0 as a starter against LSU. Jesus Christ! How many times do I need to keep saying this?

we probably going to replace him with a guy that has an extra name!!!!!

Tyrion Davis-Price

You're replacing a guy who averages 6.5 yards a carry with someone averaging 4.5. Good luck running the football against us.
