No the trump card is that at the end of the day they still have to live where the air smells like rotting flesh, the women are fat and the men look like they are made from potatoes.

SEC co-ed smack. The buoy that guides the Failboat.

None of which takes away from the fact that if Alabama had a QB that could hit wide open receivers the score would have been very different.

The "pretend better players on the team" hypothetical means that Indiana and Duke are always possible BCS eligible teams...but for.....yaknow.

we managed to win without a QB.

Well you managed to lose less. :p

I'm a big proponent of defense wins championships and both teams have very, very good defenses.

That being said the game last night was an even greater display of unforced offensive mistakes more than it was a show case of great defenses.

If Arkansas had an even half way competent defense I'd take them over either LSU or Alabama. Unfortunately for them (and luckily for you)... they don't.

Both the Tide & Tigers are solid teams...but neither is among the all time greats.

It has nothing to do with the co-eds. They don't balloon out until they hit 25 or so.

No, pointing out that Alabama's mistakes were mostly of their own making isn't coulda woulda shoulda. In the end they didn't get the job done, such is life.

Having lived in Ohio for several years in multiple locations and then in the south in multiple locations I have to say that the warm weather chicks are , on average, hotter. While I love Ohio State football, give me women of the south please.

Having lived in Dixie, SoCal, Colorado, Australia & Sweden I have to say you are damning with faint praise.

That being said my first wife is from Alabama, is an Auburn alum and is still remarkably hot today.

No idea. Believe it or not I don't stalk my ex's. :p

....and back to the primary topic...

No matter what else happens. Alabama failed to get the job done on the field, there is absolutely no reason to give them a 'do over' in the BCSCG.

At the very least it is unfair to LSU.
