I've been following this since the first trailer. There are a ton of theories floating around. It looks like it'll be influenced by Lovecraft, but still very original. The viral marketing campaign has picked up lately, due to the movie's release date being next month.

There are a few sites being used to market the movie with some interesting side-stories that will tie in with the movie more than likely.

BTW anyone else think the "monster louse" look disturbingly like crabs?

As far as I know that's just a picture that a fan made. Just an interpretation. I've seen it a few times, but I've not seen it in any real discussion. I think someone just made a monster that combined elements of all the creatures found at slusho.jp.

I don't know where that picture was found, though, so it could be legit.

I just watched the midnight showing of this movie.

I don't recall a film that's captured the feeling of pure terror this well.. I feel like I just watched some really messed up stuff happen. But I feel like it was real. Definitely met the expectations..

My reaction was "Wow.. (silence)"
