Film

I hadn't seen a review on his film and though it's not new, I thought I'd leave one. Shrive has great pad level for his size and is an excellent drive blocker. He is very advanced in his run blocking and showed good feet in pass protection, though the film was limited. He is massive on film and is very imposing. He doesn't pancake often but he is a very solid blocker. I would be excited to see Shrive in this class and I think he can play guard or tackle.

From the Irish site.....Talks about his recruiting process. Says he is completely wide open right now. Will not be attending any camps, but isn't ruling out another round of unofficials.

USC Offers Pennsylvania Standout

By Phil Kornblut
USC has joined the offer list for DL Eric Shrive (6-7 296) of Scranton, PA. Shrive is a hotly recruited prospect with numerous offers including Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Illinois, NC State, Miami, Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee and Boston College. As it turns out, USC recruiter Ray Rychleski and Shrive's father were best friends in high school. "I'm interested in South Carolina and I'll visit there," Shrive said. "I know coach Rychleski well. He visited here last week. All the schools that have offered have been in, and Southern Cal has been in. I won't narrow my list until August." Shrive said he has some research to do on USC, and he said his father's friendship with Rychleski won't be a factor in his decision. "If it's the right fit, it's the right fit." Shrive said he does not have a favorite.

South Carolina really needs to stop referring to themselves as USC,
Actually, it should be the other way around. Southern Cal should be known as "UofB" for University of Benefits and South Carolina is the University of South Carolina. Okay back to Eric.
