There is some confusion but it will get straightened out eventually.

I probably don't know enough about the process to be saying this, but it seems to me that if a school was trying to keep a kid interested while they sorted out their scholarship situation that kid might well be confused about where he stood. I mean, you don't go to a kid and say "You are our plan B". You describe your interest (which is sincere), talk about an offer (which is never clearly made), and make references to future events.

Just talking out my butt...

If he didn't before, it is certainly reasonable to believe that situation has changed. There was so much back and forth that we decided the "safest" route was to go with no offer.

However, I'm changing it now...and I'm hoping DJ pulls the trigger this weekend. I've made it no secret that this is my favorite DB this year.

If the staff wanted to talk to him, and he and his father are making the trip.....Who knows, maybe an offer will be presented. I like Green and Corey Brown alot personally. Good luck to D.J.

BINGO! The coaching staff wouldnt be calling and meeting with a prospect just to shoot the breeze, or even to notify him of an offer. Im sure there is a lot more to this story than what is being said. With spring ball under way and recruiting hot and heavy, surely these coaches are taking time out to meet with Hunter for a SPECIAL reason.

Everything about Hunter reads like a kid who desperately wants the offer - but doesn't have it yet. An Ohio kid who wants to be a Buckeye doesn't talk about a visit to IU the week after camp if he has the offer in his pocket.

On his visit he didnt get a chance to talk to Coach Tressel and every other recruit seemed tooo. I dont know if Im reading to much into that simply because theere were so many players there and he could simply of got lost in the shuffle but what I do know the kid can flat out play.
