'09 KS RB Bryce Brown (Tennessee one-n-done, Kansas State one-n-done)

I agree LBJ, Bryce is most definetly a longshot until he comes to Columbus on an unofficial visit. I'm not sure I would write him completely off just yet though.

Update from January 24th (page 2 of this thread)
From the Oklahoma site Rivals ($), Bryce talks about his family's potential move. Will camp at northern and Midwestern schools this summer, including tOSU. He really wants to see tOSU.
Midwestern boy, considered one of the best at his position, is very aware of Beanie possibly leaving after this year, wants to make a name for himself. If he camps here, meets some of our recruits, likes the academics, coaches, facilities, tradition, family atmosphere... who knows what could happen.

I wouldn't even consider myself casually optimistic about him because at this point he's a longshot, but he is still very much in play. It is still February for goodness sakes!

They keep hauling in players like this and they'll be a force again come our home/away series with them...

They've been bringing in high quality recruiting classes even during this down period. They need someone who can develop a quality offense. It's been horrible ever since '02.

Wichita Eagle: Bryce Brown commits to Miami

Bryce Brown commits to Miami

East High junior Bryce Brown, the City League's career rushing leader with one season to play, has given Miami (Fla.) an oral commitment and will follow his older brother Arthur to the Hurricanes.

Bryce Brown told Rivals.com this afternoon that the time seemed right to make the commitment.

"The first thing about it, is that I've been feeling Miami spiritually for the past few weeks," Brown told the Web site. "God was telling me that this was the best decision for me, and everybody in my family was comfortable with it.

"I've been feeling this for a month now, and I think it's a really good fit. It's the right decision for me."

cont'd...
