'09 IL OL Chris Watt (Notre Dame Signee)

Thanks for the input XP, you have been nothing but awesome, and completely honest throughout Garrett & Chris's recruitments. If Chris has a saved schollie, all we can do is look forward to when he makes the best decision of his life in a month or so!!:osu:

You call it....Heads or tails!!!!

I knew it!!! XP is telling us everything we need to know. You just have to read between the lines.

First the word "call". He has already "call"ed the coach where he is committing to tell them where he is "head"ing.

We may read other information on other boards, but we should ignore such "tails".

So where is he going? That was tougher, and first time through I thought it was Miami (the "You").

But on second look it was clear. He is going to study "it" - Information Technology.

Chris Watt, my friends, is heading for MIT.

Or is it Oregon ("or").

Come on XP - quit leading us on!!!!

Question for you then (if you don't mind).

I noticed that Steve Wiltfong from IrishEyes (the Scout Notre Dame site), did an video interview with Chris, and now has immediately pulled it off their site with only the cryptic message "This video is no longer available".

Any idea why this was done?
The video was pulled because the university has requested that the paysites (II, IE, or BGI) not do any type of interviews while recruits are on campus.

Pete Sampson (II mod) took a lot of heat from II members for not doing a video interview, like the IE guys did. He said he wouldn't do it because the university has told him if he did do that, he and the rest of the II staff would lose their press crendentials for a year.

Watt's Video

I just finished watching a video of Chris posted on another site. All I can say is, "Wow". Excellent drive while engaging down linemen. Knows how to finish off blocks. His second level blocking was devastating. When he gets to college, he won't be able to deliver that power blow, where he rolls his hips and kids go flying. He'll have to engage and keep his feet moving, which he has already proven that he can do. Willing to find defenders downfield. Very impressed!

Chris wraps up his BC visit today & heads home later this evening. (At least that was the last I heard). I have no more info. than this at the present time.

Wow, thanks X, great help all the way! So, the moment of truth must be near, then! Wow, never has one kid's recruitment effected so many, at least in my feeble mind. Seems the fate of Martinez, Longo, Prior & others hangs in the balance(notice I didn't mention Hall). These last 18 months have been a whirlwind indeed!
