From my understanding of the situation, Watt has been and does go to XP for advice throughout the recruiting process.
It doesn't seem like bias one way or another is a factor in this at all.
I agree, however, your scenario is quite unlikely in my opinion, I think it has more to do with the fact that XP undertands that blabbing about one of the most important decisions in an 18 year olds life on the internet is not a way to earn trust and respect from the 18 year old and his family.
Also, Tressel, who is infamous for shutting down people who are close to the program and like to post information on the internet, may have gotten to XP.
No matter what the situation is, it's silly to be upset over lack of posts from XP regarding the matter, just like it will be silly to be upset about Watt's decision if he chooses someplace other than OSU. Sometimes people need to take a step back from recruiting and take it for what it is, the highly personal and individual decision of a recruit and his family, and not something to get upset about or take personally.
