I did. I just wondered his opinion after the BC visit. I read somewhere we have NO shot, somewhere else that we should feel pretty good, I was just wondering his current stance, things change.

The actual post I believe said a decision is imminent, meaning that his visits are done and that he is now in the decision making stage. Everything I hear is a 50/50 type thing for us. Not bad odds in my opinion!

With the recent addition of Longo, where does Chris Watt go? The position is now closed up from what Im reading on various boards. He would be a good addition to Illinois.

OSU is still in the mix with Watt...this topic has been discussed ad nauseam, ever since the news of the Longo offer was broken by osugrad21.

Sorry, just going off of what OSU's newest commit Longo said the Ohio State coaching staff told him....But Ill stop.

SERE does have a valid point, seeing as Longo did say that the staff told him it was either him or Watt, first one gets it. Now, did Long misunderstood or misheard what the staff said, or has there been a change in what the staff has planned?

Do you have a quote of him saying that? I don't remember that.

but then he says in another story that the staff didn't talk to him about whether there will be 4 or 5 OL in this class...

if it's all over with Watt, we'll know about it soon enough. I'd be extremely surprised if that was the case.

His statement to the BN staff is the only reason why I started asking about Watts college choice. But as Mili said, he might have misunderstood and/or that could have been a while ago. But here is the quote:

And from earlier linked today - Longo on the offer process - Middletown Journal:

"It's a big deal for me," Longo said today, July 7. "I cut it down to two schools (Ohio State and Penn State) and kept going back and forth.
"I just thought if the offer closed up, could I live with it? I stopped worrying and jumped on it."

Which of course makes no mention of what Watt's decision making has to do with Longo, Watt, doncha know?
