'09 FL S Vladimir Emilien (Michigan Signee - transfer to Toledo)

bilde

Michigan recruiting visitors Vladimir Emilien, Josh Robinson, Shavodrick Beaver and Dewayne Peace attended the U-M/MSU game Saturday.

Emilien, Robinson, and Beaver are all on their cell phones. Is the scUM game really that boring?

According to what I read on the UM board, Pease told RR it too cold for him and he decommitted.:tongue2:

I have no idea on the validity of the above post. However, I always get a laugh when I hear a prospect not wanting to go to a school because of cold weather since the goal of every one of the prospects is to play in the NFL. I have hever heard of a college football player telling any NFL "cold weather" team (i.e. Green Bay, Buffalo, Cleveland, Denver, Chicago, etc.): "Don't draft me, the weather in your city is too cold for me to play there".

Deion Sanders didn't so much say not to draft him, but said he'd ask for a ridiculous amount of money if a cold weather team took him, plus there was the threat of him focusing on his baseball career.

Some selected Q&As:

TOM: Do you have a top 3?

VLAD: If I had to name a leader today it's Wisconsin and Michigan.

TOM: How many more visits are you planning?

VLAD: I plan to visit Stanford November 16th, and I'm still scheduling the Ohio State vs. Michigan Game, I still haven't officially done it yet.

TOM: What happened with Ohio State? Does it bother you?

VLAD: They just started talking to me the last couple months. There was a misunderstanding with the recruiting. They were trying to take in two safeties, because of a mishap with one of their safeties. I'm very interested. I felt kind of like I was the second choice, but business is business. I would love a chance to go that school. It just didn't happen the way I wanted to happen, I just have to move on from that.

TOM: When do you think you'll make your decision public?

VLAD: I'm going to make it public November 23rd. I'm not sure where yet.
