'09 AZ DT Corey Adams (Arizona State Signee)

I was blogging with a media guy in AZ who has covered ASU sports for the last 9 years and he said he hadn't heard anything about Corey Adams and the USC recruiter phone debacle. He seems optimistic that ASU has a good chance at Corey Adams and Devon Kennard. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Corey Adams considers Under Armour game announcement
ESPN 150 Watch List defensive tackle Corey Adams told affiliate Web site WeAreSC.com he might commit on January 4th, 2009 at the second annual Under Armour All-America Game.

"Yeah, that's something coach (John) Sanders and I have discussed, since he'll be coaching at that game too. But we'll see what happens."

As previously stated, Adams' top three schools are USC, Ohio State and Arizona State.

He said of the group, "I don't have a leader yet, but I really like the schools I've chosen. USC and Ohio State have great tradition, and always bring in great talent, as well as send players to the pros. And I know the coaches at Arizona State very well. They are an up and coming program that is doing a lot of good things."

How many more scholarships is tOSU going to offer this year? You guys have a ton of recruits already lined up for this years recruiting class.
I don't think the number pertains to Corey because he's one player that's not going to get squeezed. Ohio State will wait for him and he won't be told no if he wants to come because of numbers, they'll find room for him.

I was hoping the answer was going to be something similar to:

"tOSU is going to keep moving forward and if Corey doesn't choose the Buckeye's in a timely manner, he will lose his opportunity to wear the scarlet and gray. The Sun Devils can have him." :)
