'08 OH SF Delvon Roe (Michigan State Signee)

Lackluster first half. Nothing to make Roe look like an All-American. Team was losing by 14 pts. Second half, Roe and the team put on a show and outscored Washington St. John's 50-25 en route to the 72-61 championship victory. Roe with 19 pts, 6 boards, and numerous other plays.

I've heard talk (post-game analysis from scUM's latest loss, sports radio 1470) that Amaker's seat is starting to heat up in Ann Arbor. From what I understand, Amaker was one of the biggest reasons Delvon Roe was considering scUM. Would make his recruitment VERY interesting if scUM continues to have a bad year in the Big Ten and Amaker's tenure ends abruptly...

St. Edward's basketball team earned plenty of recognition by winning the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C., over the holidays.
North Carolina coach Roy Williams, who was in the stands scouting 6-8 junior forward Delvon Roe, congratulated coach Eric Flannery on the Eagles' defensive play against Pennsbury (Pa.) and St. John's (Washington, D.C.).
