'08 OH SF Delvon Roe (Michigan State Signee)

BSB$ (Jeff Rapp)

Roe had a great time on his official visit to tOSU this past weekend. Roe was impressed by support system and spent time with the team. His family also enjoyed the trip. Roe will be back on campus for the Michigan game. Roe hopes to take unofficial trips to Kansas, UConn and Louisville in the spring.

Not if Koufos is at the 4

Matchup nightmare.

Very true, but Matta could also go with the 4 out 1 in with Twig/Mullens at the 5 and either Kosta or Roe at the 4.

Or he could go 5 out with Kosta and Roe both in the game.

Matchup nightmare is a great way to put it.

First we have to get Roe here, which doesnt seem like an easy task at the moment even for Matta.

Not sure too many teams play with a 5 out system. Having a 5 out system would clutter the perimeter, a 4 out 1 in system is a bit more logical. You need someone in the post to set ball screens and back screens to keep the flow of the offense going. Koufos or Roe could pop out on the wing to create match-up problems, but there would always be someone replacing him in the post (Possibly Cook who would create wing matchup problems in the post with his size and strength).

Yeah I know, but what I mean is that you got 5 guys that can play the perimeter. You also do a lot of cutting and back screening not necessairly from a big guy. It is ran to open up the middle and create shots from the perimeter, because you don't have that one guy going from block to block, but you have guys cutting through the middle and back out to the outside.
