'08 OH OL Elliot Mealer (Michigan Signee)

i always hate to see a kid head to uofm, but i can see why hed go theyve done a great job of producing olinemen. best of luck (minus one nov saturday a year where i wish him only good health). really cant blame a kid. michigan is a great school and a great football program.

Let's all hope that Boone stays. However, I agree with clev that Rehring might move over to tackle if Boone leaves early. I believe Boone is a better OT, but with him gone, we might be left with no other choice in 2008. If, on the other hand, Boone stays, there will be a question mark at only one tackle spot. I like the chance of three (or four) 5-star linemen shoring up one tackle spot than the same three (or four) backing up both spots.

edit: I agree though that this has nothing to do with Mealer. I was just going with the flow. Back to Mealer then.

Fulton County, OH -- A tragic crash on Christmas eve has killed two members of a Wauseon family.
David Mealer, 50, was driving a vehicle with four passengers when they were struck by a vehicle driven by H. Edward Johnson, age 90, also of Wauseon.
