'08 OH LB Michael Zordich (Penn State signee)

I love the offer. SOn of a former football player (albeit at Penn St), but we seem to have very good luck with guys liek that. Not to mention Mike is just a player on the field, period.

Also, I don't know if he has grown considerably, but the Mooney website has him listed at 6'3" 224. That would be very nice MLB size.

hard to believe with the lack of 'ships that they are offering anyone to play FB. Lots of in state offers all the sudden.

This is the kind of offer that defies a position and fits into one of JT's categories...obviously BIG SPEED. Mike is the kind of kid you go to war with...get him on campus and find a position for him later.

An absolute demon in the weight room...

IMHO, not entirely a coincidence that this offer went out around the same time Beal got his offer from ND.

By Bill Greene...Michael discusses his offer from Ohio State, and calls it "special". He visited ND this past weekend (ND did not offer him).

As most you already know, Michael's father played football at Penn State; his mother was a cheerleader there as well. However, despite the strong PSU connection, Michael is open-minded (i.e., he is not a PSU lock), and his parents will be supportive of his decision.

Interestingly, Oklahoma is the first school to offer all four Moonoey players (Zordich, McCarthy, Beachum and Hill)...

I just looked on the thread and saw that Zordich was offered...good for him. He has been working his tail off for this offer and it has come his way. I would be HIGHLY surprised to see him pass on OSU. I talked to him a bit at The Game and he was saying how much he loved OSU and how his father really liked JT (I guess they got to know each other at some camp). He sounded all OSU to me.
