Video of Michael.

My Take: Mike is a football player...that is obvious. Hardnosed, aggressive, and naturally instinctive. I question his lateral movement, change of direction, and overall burst though. Again, this is tough to judge based on a short highlight film.

That's my initial impression, a very physical player who loves to hit someone. Although there are guys who can run faster from slideline to slideline, Michael is not slow by any standard of the imagination. I thought that he showed pretty decent speed and change of direction on some of those runs and that interception return. I also think that having the initial burst may not be as important at LBer than at a skill position like RB, as the film shows that he can very quickly close the hole on runners. Overall, a potential tackle machine at MLB (Schlegel with a big more athleticism) and a possible camp offer/late offer if we miss out on some other higher rated prospects. It is not a slam dunk at all that Brandon Beachum is a better prospect than Michael Zordich.

I ran into Michael and his dad tonight and look out! He had on a ND shirt! Paint the endzones it's over.

Just to keep everyone grounded...I friggin live with a ND fan, and when Christmas time came around (I shop LATE) every ND shirt I saw was on sale, and apparently, every other similar shirt of tOSU, scUM, IU or PU was either not available or had been sold...haha. Looking back, it doesn't mean $h!t... but Rico McCoy is what you need to remember. Gotta love the T-Shirt wars.

Hubbard: I see your sarcasm, and I raise you....

Does not surprise me. IMO, perfect MLBer, because the guy just plugs the holes and make plays.

PS. I love what the coaches are doing this year. I think we have learned our lessons from being patient on very selective OOS targets that are extremely difficult to land. Better rack up the homegrown talent first.

I think I will be on the fence on this one all year, but he is just a heck of a football player, and you have to have those guys on your team, but unless this is a fb offer I would have Sweat filling that role...
hard to believe with the lack of 'ships that they are offering anyone to play FB. Lots of in state offers all the sudden.
