If he is going to have a scholarship waiting for him in January would he have to have an offer from Ohio State and has that been substantiated? I am not questioning his word but I have never seen in this thread that he had any offer from Ohio State and what, if anything, does this say about the guys that we are currently recruiting for the DL.

I am always happy for someone who is willing to sacrifice something to be a Buckeye. I just hope it all comes true.

Yes. Excellent question. All of that and what does he come in as. I assume as a brand new Freshman with 4-5 years of eligibility. '08 class, '09, or even'10? BP brass, anybody??

Just trying to put two and two together, but it looks like our scholarship chart shows 2 ships available (and Rowell is included in that ship total) and I believe JT said yesterday that we have 1 left outstanding. Does that mean Whitner is good to go and will get a scholarship next season?

Any word on where his grades are at? I would think everything still hinges on that.
