My Take: Out of all of the Mooney kids, McCarthy is the one obvious tOSU talent-wise. He has a serious burst, excellent lateral movement, peripheral vision, and changes direction as well as anyone I've seen in the 08 bunch thus far. Great early offer.

My Take: He is an amazing athlete and it is clear why he received the early offer. There isnt enough film of him at db to really get a read on that, but you can tell his change of direction and his speed from all the long runs he makes from the QB position.

While eating outside the Shoe, I saw Zordich and McCarthy talking and they were having a good time. Both were talking up OSU quite a bit and sounded positive FWIW.
