'08 NV PF Luke Babbitt (Nevada Verbal)

Code:
we already have our banger at the PF in Lauderdale.
40, do you really see DL. playing the 4 spot in TM's system? I'd almost see Madsen getting more time at the 4 spot that DL.
However, I do agree with you that I did not see Roe coming to Ohio State for whatever reason. I think he goes to Carolina. I would love to get Babbitt but I think it is going to be hard to get him to come East.

Well it will depend on who stays. If Oden is here I think that Lauderdale could play some four, but I do agree his position is at C, but I was merely pointing out in terms of a guy to go inside and bang with the big boys. That is why I don't see as much of a need for Gates compared to Babbitt. With Harris gone, you don't have the guy to play the four that can step out and shoot the 3 and stretch the D a little.

We will also have Kosta to play alongside Lauderdale who can play the four, especially if they play together.

Koufos is a 4
Lauderdale is a 5

for these two you cant look at their height you must look at their game

Kosta plays and moves more like a 3 than a 5. I think he can play some 5 in a pinch but it would be a waste of skills and he is perfect for Matta's system at 4.

Lauderdale is a horse inside and a low post player. I liken him to Dials only with more hops and athleticism. Just as Dials was ineffective at the 4 it would be the same with Dallas. He is a 5 all the way and likely successor to Oden inside ( I'm still saying Greg will be here two years ).

Actually I see Koufos playing the 3, 4 and 5 at Ohio State. Lauderdale can play the four and will. I think if Oden stays then you could see Lauderdale at the four once in awhile.
