van, van, van... stop listening to digger.
With the addition of Babbitt the Buckeyes may have as much talent top to bottom as any team in America period, once the Class of 2008 arrives in Columbus. Even with the defection of Odom and others to the NBA between now and then.

Man, if Matta could only recruit, we might have something here.:shake:

This is getting ridiculous. The embarrassment of talent coming in is absolutely amazing. Could we possibly have a 6'8" (3) or wing player?

Wednesday, March 07, 2007

Despite being a native of Ohio, Luke Babbitt has never played basketball in the state.
That's all about to change beginning in 2008.
Babbitt ? born in Cincinnati and a native of West Chester Twp. ? has verbally committed to continue his hoops career at The Ohio State University. The Reno, Nev., resident announced his intentions two weeks ago and will sign a national letter-of-intent during the early signing period in November.
"It just felt real comfortable with the coaching staff," Babbitt said. "Obviously, I'm from Ohio, but coming back wasn't the main thing. I was more focused on finding a place that fit me for basketball and academics. When I went on my unofficial visit, I knew I wanted to be there."
