scUM is leading 29-21 at UConn in the first half.

The Big Ten is 2nd in RPI, by conference, despite what many idiots on TV say. Only the ACC is higher. That should bode well for BT bubble teams in March.

I've shared my thoughts on him a few times this year...:shake:

Idiot.
I am trying to remember the name of another IU player a couple years ago who came close to the same act as Dumes:( If he doesn't like to lose, you should have never one to Bloomington.

I thought I would share this since some of us were talking about this man a couple weeks ago. I was watching the Michigan State/Michigan game last week and there was a contested ball that got knocked out of bounds by guys from both teams. The play was on the baseline and the baseline official ruled it was Michigan's ball only for the one and only Ed Hightower:sad2: to come running in from about half-court to "consult" the call with the referee closest to the play. Anyhow, good old Ed:eek: got the ruling overturned but then they showed the replay on TV and it was very obvious that the baseline official who was closest to the play was originally correct.

I would be extremely pleased if I did not see Hightower:frown2: referee another Ohio State game the remainder of his life.

We have 6 conference games left - 3 home, 3 away. Our opponents are 34-38 in conference play. A 4-2 finish would put us at 21-8, 11-7 heading to the BTT, and leave us at no worse than 21-9 come selection Sunday. That would likely get us a single-digit seed in the Dance, which would be a helluva job by a very thin and young team.

Go Bucks!

Anyone else here think we need to scrap the freaking zone defense at one point or another? Every legitimate contender has to be able to MAN up and play real defense. I'm sorry but after watching Northwestern's unathletic shooters just hang in the corner all night knocking down easy wide open 3's on drive and kicks got absolutely irritating.

We have the athletes to man up, so why we stay in this pansy ass zone is beyond me at times. Don't get me wrong I understand that it works great at times...but do we EVER play man defense?
