Nice grades, I dont know what kind of engineering program OSU has, but I know Purdue's is very good.

Sunshine Preps has posted video of Clay. Video quality is pretty poor though. All in all I wasn't that wowed by him. Quite a few passes were to wide open guys and what I had been seeing. Good prospect but I want to see how he does this year without all of those talented targets. I think Belton is more of a system QB and would fit in great at a school like Purdue. Just my assessment after seeing him live, playing against him in 7 on 7's, and watching his video.

My bad. I fixed it up and it should work now. True Millani and I hadn't thought about that. Belton is certainly not a scrambler and is a pure pocket passer. The more I see and think about it, I would be very surprised if Belton is plan A at QB next year. I would think Chris Smith would be plan A and I'm wondering if Paulus will be in play as well.

I was not all that impressed by the video. There isn't one play in that 5+ minute video that sticks out in my head. I agree with RB07- he looks like he'd be good in a system like Purdue, Kentucky, or Miami (OH), but I don't see him running an offense like ours.

I was impressed, it may be because of reading what you guys had to say about not seeing anything special, but I ended up seeing more than I expected to see, he had great timing on his throws, he has a great delivery almost like a Byron Leftwich and he even had decent feet, but even though I was impressed with him, I just don't know if he would fit in OSU's scheme. But I think he has a nice arm and should probably get many Big D1 offers. Better than a lot of QB's that I have seen on film, some that were 5 stars.

IMO QBs are very hard to judge based on highlight films. I would need to see a whole game.

But based on his film he does a good job of throwing the ball on time and is very accurate. He also has very nice size.

Also remember that if we were to bring him in he would probably sit for 4 years counting his redshirt and then 3 years behind Todd/Robbie/Henton. He would have time to develop with 4 years in the system, so it isnt like he will have to play now.
