I saw a very good pocket QB, that has a good base, and good technique, and I am sure will continue to grow and fill out. I think the thing that puts a lot of people off is that he is a lefty. It makes a big difference when watching the film.

It was also said last year during Tebow's recruitiment that Tress is not a big fan of lefties, so I think it is kind of suprising when you hear that Belton could be number one on the board.

By Andy Jardy of BSB...Belton talks about Kurt Coleman a bit and how being around him has prepared him for recruiting. Education will be a key factor and he is interested in engineering. He is currently interested in Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Iowa, Cincinnati (offer) and Bowling Green (offer).

My take: What is Purdue waiting for? They should offer this kid yesterday...

My sentiments exactly Wadc - he seems like a prototypical Purdue type of QB, and the fact that he is interested in Engineering & that acedemics are a priority would seem to steer him in that direction (Purdue is a perenial top 5 engineering school). If they offered now, they would be the first "major" type of program to do so, and that generally sticks with guys.


BTW - tOSU has a pretty good engineering school as well.

Clay enjoyed his visit to MSU and says that is the first school that can compare to tOSU. However, he is excited to visit tOSU soon and did not hide his love for the Buckeyes.
