'07 OH LB Andrew Dailey (Penn State signee)

about time. After one game last year , I was sold on him when he stood out against ST. Edwards. A lot of those young kids looked great but, he was all over all game

He just makes play and his 4.5 speed looks even faster in his pads.

Heard safety but, he could be a great olb to

I'd rather see him at OLB. We are in on so many good DB and S prospects this year already without Dailey. RS him and let him put on some weight and get the D schemes down and he would be OK IMO.

Same. We are going to be loaded at safety even if we miss out on Clifford. We still would have Gamble and Arnold to pick from, plus we already have Oliver commited. I like Dailey much better at OLB with a RS year.

Osu is so loaded at LB. The only LB'er in the next class would have be a Katzenmoyer/clone to play

Well we took 4 last year but one was a junior. That leaves 3 and Homan won't be redshirting and I think one of Moeller and Gibson redshirt. That leaves some seperation and I think we will take 1-2 stud LB's this year, but we won't reach. I don't think you pass on a top 100 nationally ranked player that has the grades. Dailey is just a great player when he hits the field and I would be disappointed to not see him in this class.

same here. Fickell kept saying OSU is 7 deep now and thats not counting moeller and gibson.

same here maybe, both would have to rs

That why I feel like if we get another 1 or 2 top players in the next class. They would have to be like KATZ was his freshman year to play

We actually took 5 last year (Grant, Johnson, Homan, Moeller, Gibson).

Good catch I don't know what I was thinking. But still Johnson is a Mike and we only will have one freshman OLB redshirt imo and I think it's either Moeller or Gibson. Whatever is the case we need to take at least one LB this year and maybe two. Now that Coslanti commited, does anyone get the impression Dailey will be option A now? I think so and with both Peake and Hines right behind.

</TD></TR><TR><TD align=right>Rivals.com</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- End Image-->Plays Outside - very good in coverage. Reads patterns well and has good sense of passing lanes. Long strider, so tough to read on how fast he really is but he eats up ground. Backed off the ball a lot like a safety and is asked to cover TE's and RB's in man coverage. Has good toughness, makes a lot of plays in pursuit. Well coached and maybe more ready to play in college early because of it.
