We've now had about a dozen people post on here that he is an ND lean...which according to those closer to the souce than us may or may not be true. Either way, cbf40 is right...this is going to be a long battle, so let's just let the updates flow and wait and see what happens this summer.

At this time last year, Chris Wells was said to be a michigan fan and influenced by his uncle that played there. A week later, he committed to the Buckeyes. We just need to wait and see how this one plays out, but I have a good feeling it will work out well for OSU in the end.

I know we say that depth chart shouldnt mean much to a 5 star stud but you know it still has to be part of the decision equation. What does ND depth chart at DE look like? The last 2 classes for tOSU seem to have really addressed this.

that is irrelevant...unless all 5 we have taken in the last 2 years stay at DE, which is highly unlikely. As for ND, their DE depth chart is chock full of guys who were not recruited as DEs. Look at the team depth chart, not the Rivals or Scout databases for an accurate look at who a recruit would be competing for time with.

Ben is hearing from Ohio State, Notre Dame, Illinois, Boston College, Illinois, Mississippi and Cincinnati. He does not have a favorite and will not think about it until after basketball season. Ben talks to Connor Smith regularly and he will attend tOSU's camp.

Very good update. I really think if we can bring in Clifford too, that would help, seeing as they are both from Cincy. We have really mended some fences down in Cincy.
