'07 MI CB Ronald Johnson (Southern Cal signee)

A commit from RoJo alone, especially if we get Heyward this afternoon I think would change a LOT of people's opinions on how this class filled out. An addition of RoJo's caliber would really put a nice shiny touch on this incoming group. I like our odds. It seems like every now and then the state's best want to buck the trend a bit and go OOS...we'll see if RoJo pulls the ultimate bucking and heads for CBus. :)

No matter how many times OSU has lost out on recruits this year, getting RoJo would make this an awesome class. Nothing in recruiting would be sweeter than to take a top 10 player in the nation out of TSUN when he was thought to be an UM lock.

In my opinion HE IS GOING TO BE A BUCKEYE!! We have seen the trend where the strong programs close at the end. Cameron, Ronald would have JT come out smelling like a rose. In Tressel we Trust!! It sounds like his mother is very important to him and sure closer to see your son in Ohio than Florida or USC. Either way he has excellent choices especially if Michigan is out. Go Bucks!!

I believe he will announce this Sunday morning at his church in Muskegon...

Anytime the church is involved, that's only bonus odds for JT and Co. Not saying it means anything...just looking for any reason whatsoever to lead myself to believe he wants to be a Buckeye.

I'll take what I can get at this point!

Church - Tressel, oh yeah baby...the coincidences are too great

In all seriousness, getting RoJo would be fantastic but i will not get my hopes up until it happens. Florida has it going right now and it will be tough to derail that train. RoJo not giong to UM is a victory in my opinion already.

I remember I think it was Bobby Bowden

who famously said a kid's recruiting begins when he commits somewhere, then you know what you're up against. I bet Michigan cringes every time a kid says hey I'm in, I just want to take my visits. Add Ronald to the long list.

wow michigan is going to lose rojo, barksdale, washington, allen out of michigan...the best class in michigan in a long long time..and they lose 9 out of the 10 top prospects..ouch

Part of it has to do with the fact that Michigan, unlike Ohio State, relies on out of state recruits. As a result, they have to spread their resources, which results probably in a neglect of certain in-state schools and coaches.

Ohio State, on the other hand, has pipeline schools and a wonderful relationship with the high school coaches in the state. They have to, because that's where a most Buckeyes come from.
