'07 MI CB Ronald Johnson (Southern Cal signee)

According to Mapquest (who figures time based on the speed limit):
Muskegon to Columbus = approx. 5 1/2 hrs.
Muskegon to Ann Arbor = approx 2 3/4 hrs.
Muskegon to East Lansing = approx 1 3/4 hrs.

I can't imagine that the extra 2 hours or so would be a deal breaker...

But you also need to consider covering the distance difference between AA and Columbus would take an additional 105 hours traveling at a 4.5/40yd.

Does anyone know why Ron wasn't at the All American Game? Was he not invited (which would seem strange due to his high national rankings)? Or did he turn down an invite for some reason?

(Thanks, skimmed through part of the thread and couldn't find anything.)

Like was said injury was part of it. Also the MHSAA has a rule where if you are playing a winter sport (basketball, wrestling) that you can't compete in things like the Army AA bowl. Stupid rule I know, but it is what it is.

Some Michigan fans are now sweating this one out...

In a way it reminds me of the Fred Davis recruitment...Everyone thought that he was ours and it was jsut a matter of time, and then everyone started to worry about him as he shut off matters of communication with recruiting sites and such and then he chose to go elsewhere right in front of our eyes...

Not saying that is what is going to happen, but I am just starting to get that feeling...

As for where he would go, by the way UF seems to landing players I wouldnt be at all suprised if he would go there...
