'07 MI CB Ronald Johnson (Southern Cal signee)

The problem was the same for Marquis Maze, Dionte Allen gave us a verbal commitment and said he would not take any other visits and he did take other visits just like Maze, so we just stopped talking to them because they lied. We need Rojo badly!

The Allen situation goes a little deeper but that is the gist of the story. I will go into a little more detail about it after NLOID. I have heard the entire story from two different souces now so I think it will be safe to post a summary.

Projects better at corner, but has big play potential no matter what position he plays. We are recuriting him as a db and wr in college, ala Woodson. You guys are recuriting him as just a wr since Gonzo and Ginn are leaving, but that could change.

Not to mention, the Ginn / Gonzo angle doesn't make much sense anyway. We've already got 2 WRs in this class and still have 5 under scolarship.
CB and WR are 2 positions that we're stacked at.

tOSU could always stand to be faster on either side of the ball - especially as Tress wants to play the spread and has to defend against the spread

WE ARE FAST!! If this is going back to the UF game, the difference was their DL speed, not skill position speed, and I do not think RoJo plays DL.
I agree completely... I think the NC was more of a strategy problem (if we only ran the ball)... but thats for another board. I was just saying that there would be a place for Johnson.
