'07 IL RB Robert Hughes (Notre Dame signee)

A lot of people see Saine as a DB in college, I wouldnt mind him getting a look at corner myself.

You sure about that? I haven't heard anything but RB for Saine.
I don't know how many RB's we are looking to bring in, but from watching film on both players, my preference would be Hughes. I like Saine's speed, but something just jumps out about Robert. I love his power.

the staff has recruited Saine as an athelete. If an offer to another RB goes out, I think its a safe bet Saine is brought in as a DB (if he comes)

not grad, but what impressed me was his leverage and balance. he would enter a pile of defenders and then slip out the back. great ability to stay on his feet. his vision was also impressive. i think i would have to put hughes a slight notch above morgan williams for the best true back on the board.

I have no inside info on this but I think we would want Saine on the offensive side of the ball. He has great closing speed but with all the CB talent in Ohio I would think we would put him at RB or WR. Just my opinion though.

This is exactaly what I thought when watching his film. I also think he is a power rb all the way, not a fb.

you need to keep things in the mindset of a three-tiered recruiting structure. saine, by the very nature of his speed fits into the speed category. hughes, despite being a similar size, probably goes into either the speed or big speed category.
