'07 DC WR Arrelious Benn (Illinois signee)

Dunbar plays the same competition and type of teams that kids like McCoy, Williams, AJ Wallace, Navarro Bowman, and the rest of the DC metro area kids play in. The overall competition is not great but there are some tremendous individual players and teams in the area.

Getting a player like Benn to even come to OSU for a visit would be huge.

Probably not, even if PSU misses out on Hazelton (which they sound like they have) they're still deep at WR, which teams will gladly point out in Benn's recruitment. :)

good point...so you when we are talking East coast teams who are we talking about beyond Maryland? Pitt, Florida, Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, etc.? The kid practically has offers from everyone so he is certainly going to have his choice of where he wants to go.

Here's to hoping Arrelious will at least come for an official and talk to Coach Tressel and see what a good man he is.

Fickell did a HECK of a job last year of getting the attention of some of those recruits in Maryland last year. Next progression is landing some of those fellas! Benn certainly would be one I'd love to see in Columbus on an official...

Fickell doesn't need anymore LBs so going after some top notch WRs seems like a really good ideal. (OK, he might need one LB in 2007)
