'07 DC WR Arrelious Benn (Illinois signee)

I think he's a heavy lean to ND right now crazybuck, but I don't think he's a lock or anything like that. Locks are very rare, and they usually only occur when a kid is an in-stater or if he has unusually close ties to a program (see Justin Boren). Benn will be a top recruit in the country and have every school coming at him. He's not going to make his decision early, he'll take his visits and his time. Benn did grow up a Miami Hurricanes fan, and as you know Miami just underwent some changes to their staff so that might've hurt their standing with him a bit. However, Miami's new coaches will form a relationship with this kid and start to pick up their recruitment of him. Miami needs 3-4 receivers in this class, so there is definetly room for Benn.

The only thing is he talks with Jimmy Clausen about going to the same school together. I think this makes Benn and Clausen about as close as locks as there are IMO. I cant see either player going anywhere else espcially with Deonte Thompson looking good for Cryami. I dont care that he grew up a Florida fan, I believe he ends up in Miami, which might hurt them with Benn since he may not want go to a school that signs a receiver the same caliber as him.
