Thats good that the coaches are in contact with Joe. He seems to be a level headed guy. Hope he wants to jump the fence, and head for the bucks.

Joe says he is unsure if he will officially visit tOSU or anyone else. He plans to decide after the playoffs. Joe is hearing from Coaches Beckman and Tressel every week.

If this is the case then IMO it is 100% that he is still in play. No way does JT keep calling if Joe says "thanks, but I am comitted to Pitt". I think it is in JT's nature to respect the descision and back off.
This seems to be good news for sure.

Supposedly JT's policy is to leave the committed recruits alone until they contact him anyways. So Mr. Thomas seems to be keeping things quiet.

I by getting him on campus we have just about won him over and I expect a commitment this week. I have no inside info just guessing.

Article by Bob Lichtenfels......Thomas' parents wanted Joe to visit tOSU. Coach Tressel will be making a home visit on Thursday night. Apparently, by this Sunday he will know if he will keep his verbal to Pitt or verbal to tOSU.
