I don't doubt at all that you spoke with Pool, but when he admits that he has had zero contact with the kid yet still manages to make bold predictions concerning his future, I see that as hearsay and a transparent attempt to sell subscriptions.

no problem... but i don't think he was trying to sell me a subscription (i already have one) and he told me through my private message box. just wanted to relay what i was told. Pool is still claiming sources close to the situation, but hasn't spoken directly to the Brown's.

i believe pool and bob lichen...whatever are both calling brown to tennessee, and the source is someone close, if not in AMW's family. pool mentioned something about talking to connor smith's dad as well.

quite frankly the brown's have cut off contact with scout, and chris pool hates parents that control a kid's recruiting situation. couple that with the fact that brown is a highly valued recruit with many offers. this is the the only way they can build any drama with the situation.

Well it could be possible that Brown and Smith don't both want to attend OSU due to too much competition, etc. So if the Brown's were talking to the Smith's, maybe the Smith's indicated that Connor was sold on OSU, causing Brown to look elsewhere.

I would be happy if OSU ended up with either. We've got some good young OL's in the wings, so we'll be okay.

I'll go on record as saying that Brown doesn't go to OSU - many reasons, first of which is not wanting to sit behind Alex Boone for three years.

I just don't like how Aaron's recruitment has gone - too similar to AMW's in a lot of ways. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff forces his hand soon - too many good OL out there just waiting for offers.

i doubt this is the case. smith and brown dont play the same position. and if competition was an issue, brown wouldnt be looking at florida that already has a 5* OT committed.

until something changes, i'm skeptical of the whole thing. pool just seems miffed that brown's dad has taken charge and wont give him access for interviews.

if it means anything, the entire thread was 86'd over on the scout board. perhaps pool didn't want too look like a whiny bitch because george brown wouldn't let him talk to his son.

Fuck Pool and Lickmyballs or how ever you spell it. I really can't stand those arrogant fucks. I cancelled my scout subscription just this morning after realizing I can't stand those types of jack asses. They have too many of them there. They are playing some sort of shell game with each one backing the other up on whatever they say. I really feel they are both full of shit anymore.

it was badphish's post over there that got the thread locked down! (i'm FlyerHoops, the one who stirred the pot in that thread :)).
Pool didn't want the personal attacks and to have to keep answering the questions so he 86'd it.
he's still e-mailing me with reasons why the whole confrontation "never happened". i think he doth protest to much...

Well to add to this rumor, I've heard from a credible source that Chris Pool is a homo. Unfortunately I can not reveal my source....... he's hiding in a closet.
