'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

Let me head you guys off before this crosses that line you two are walking and others are sure to cross...

Aaron Brown is a great kid from a great family. They have every right to enjoy this recruiting experience to the fullest. Although we would all love to have him committed to tOSU right now, this situation will take patience. Everyone "in the know" has said not to worry about AB...these are the same people who calmed the masses with Doug Worthington.

Lets all be patient and let Aaron enjoy his deserved spotlight. We will all be happy in the end.

grad is 100% correct. LONESTARBUCK and snake charmer, you guys didn't need to go there. Just because a kid doesn't commit 10 months before NLOID doesn't mean that he doesn't want to become a Buckeye. Cordle waited until Apr 5th last year to commit...no one was ragging on him before then for not committing early. In fact, 14 of our 18 commits last class came from June onward. Just chill.

i agree, everyone needs to relax on this matter.

i guarantee the following will transpire in the next few days. chris pool came over and shook the hornet's nest about this kid. now after the thing festers for a while, scout will produce a premium article on him with an ambiguous and appealing title line in order to try and sell a few subscriptions during the down time of recruiting.

Gary is waivering a bit on brown, but still thinks osu hasa good shot. duane long is still 100% osu and not budging. duane says he has been talking to george brown for over a year now and knows what is up.

I think you hit the nail on the head tsteele.

As for Gary, I suspect his "source" is Mr Pool himself. I used to buy his story but he has definitely missed more than hit the last 3 years.

Never ment to be negitive, I have been following recruiting since the early 80's, and was just trying to state the obvious. It is way to early to get worked up over any recruit. Ohio state is Ohio State and will attract the very cream of the crop. Over the last few years you had this great one and that great one that did not even end up getting an offer in the end. Recruiting is fun and should be regared as such.

AMP on Rivals did a piece on Aaron which includes interviews with Aaron and his father George. Aaron is looking for a good relationship with his position coach and the head coach. His father says his best qualities are his quick feet and the fact that he is a hard worker.
