The visit to USC bothers me a bit, but I also like this quote:

"If you do make the NFL, you give up a lot. That's a lot of time away from your family, and someday I want to find someone nice and settle down. I hate it when I hear about people being alone or having to go to nursing homes, alone. People need companions, they need friends and family."

A kid who understands the importance of family is less likely to make his parents fly to Cali to see him play.

He is going to take five official visits -USC, Tennessee, Florida, Purdue, and Ohio State. He will take an unofficial to tOSU for Cincy and save his official for the scUM game. But his father said they would probably be there for most of the home games.

His father also seemed perturbed about internet speculation regarding AMW's recruitment.

Apparently Mr. White has taken exception to some of the things he's read on the internet. A couple of things he mentioned were people saying his son was going to be a Sooner even though AMW is not even visiting there and he also didn't like the talk that AMW was going to Purdue just because he made an unofficial visit. He made it a point to say the Buckeyes were his son's leader and nothing has changed in that regard. I guess he doesn't like all the speculation regarding his son's choice.

If they don't like people speculating there is an easy way to resolve that...commit to OSU. If OSU is your favorite school why play the recruiting game. It would help OSU coaches in their recruiting effort if Adam would commit now. They could focus on other top notch players. Adams early committment could start a snowball effect in the recruiting game.

Every OSU fan wants Adam to be a Buckeye!!!! If I were a recruit I would be focusing on H.S. football and academics rather than the recruiting game. Hopefully he pulls the trigger well before NLOID.

he's stretching it to get 5 mini-vacations... if you had the chance to have 5 colleges "wine, dine" and spoil the crap out of you for a few days (maybe even lock you up with a gorgeous gal or two plus a party here and there) ... you might just take it too... he's going to milk it for all its worth... I might have done the same thing... especially if I KNEW already where I wanted to go...
