Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden announced Friday the dismissal of Fred Rouse and Cornelius Lewis from the football program. Lewis, a redshirt freshman offensive guard, started three games for the Seminoles in 2005. Rouse was a true freshman wide receiver who started the Orange Bowl game against Penn State. He had six catches for 114 yards and one touchdown in 2005.
"Both players are dismissed for conduct detrimental to the welfare of the football team," said Bowden.
There will be no further comment on the dismissals from FSU officials. "Seven years of college down the drain." 68 days and counting.
Wow
For a kid with that talent to be kicked off the team by Bowden, he must have really screwed up...

Well, Nicholson was arrested 3 times in 10 months. He didn't get anything more than a dag-gum one game suspension until the 3rd arrest on suspicion of rape.I'm hearing it has something to do with weed. The FSU fans are upset because of what AJ Nicholson did and he was still on the team.

Florida State receiver Fred Rouse and offensive lineman Cornelius Lewis were kicked off the team yesterday by coach Bobby Bowden.
Both players had been disciplined during the season. Rouse was suspended for one game after the freshman argued with coaches during the Seminoles’ 26-21 loss to Virginia.
Bowden also suspended Lewis, a redshirt freshman, for a game during the season for a violation of team rules.
Lewis also was ejected from the Florida game for fighting and, as a result, had to sit out the first half of Florida State’s 27-22 victory in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game against Virginia Tech.
