To clarify, I agree with the prior postings that the Ohio State roster is better served with a tackle; and neither I nor Kristofer hold anything against Ohio State. In the end, Ohio State made the right decision for the team.
Let me say this about that ... there really is no good explanation for how the trip to Columbus was cancelled. And, there are good ways and bad ways to handle any situation. In my opinion, lying to a recruit in a manner that would easily be shown for a lie is insulting, invites criticism, and...
The official visits will be as follows:
Ohio State vs. Michigan
Tennessee vs. Florida
USC vs. Notre Dame
and most likely
Penn St. vs. Michigan
Miami vs. Virginia Tech
Kristofer will not be making a late Summer visit because of changes in my schedule. My work varies between busy and very busy and I have another large transaction that is consuming my time. The transaction is scheduled to close July 21 but will likely slide a week or two, possibly more...
The obvious ... "making" Kristofer do something is easier said than done. Lest we forget why he is being recruited (i.e., Very strong & athletic giant) ...
I cannot tell you how much abuse Kristofer is receiving over the "operas and broadway play" article. Actually, I was at the front of the line in abusing him on this one ... followed by our dad and one of his cousins. But, for the record ... Kristofer's mother made the quotes about plays...
It is true that Kristofer will not make it out until the Fall, but it is completely my fault. I began to make the travel arrangements; however, a large project I am working on is lingering. As a result, I cannot finalize any travel plans until the transaction gets worked out. The transaciton was...
The writers for Scout.com and Rivals.com often make big news from innocuous statements. Kristofer is often misquoted and/or a story is created where one really doesn't exist. I do not believe that the last visit accomplished much more than getting to know the Coaches and players better ... and...
No worries ... recruiting is stressful for all involved, including fans.
As for my closing, I am merely a hired gun ... no champagne for me ... I would rather have been in Columbus at the football camp.
I'm not certain about the calories, but i would guess 4,000 plus calories per day. And, he has 12-15 items from taco bell at a time. He used to eat like a normal person and he couldn't gain any weight (i.e., he was stuck at 280) and his strength wasn't increasing. Once he started eating like a...
Kristofer was actually at the Scout.com camp, not the Nike Camp. And, he didn't interact with any of the USC coaches because it is apparently against the rules. The purpose of going to the Scout.com camp was to "qualify" for the Army All-American game and not to visit any schools.
As for the...
And, Scout.com misstated to Kristofer about his rating (i.e., I previously stated he would be ranked as the #1 or #2 OL) ... Scout.com appears to have meant either #1 or #2 overall in the State of Arizona or at Guard, but not OL. Anyway, my prior post was incorrect ... Scout.com has rated...
Kristofer has the atheticism to play anywhere on the line, including a blocking tight end (he has great hands, but obviously lacks true tight end speed). At Ohio State, considering Boone has locked down left tackle (and is a great left tackle), again, Kristofer could play anywhere from left...
Big picture -- most of the Scout.com and Rivals.com articles are taken out context. Kristofer discussed "small towns", as in Waco, TX (Baylor), Reno, NV (Nevada), and wherever New Mexico State is located with the reporters ... these are truly small towns. In addition, there are the "state...
