'07 AZ OL Kris O'Dowd (Southern Cal Signee)

Kristofer will not be making a late Summer visit because of changes in my schedule. My work varies between busy and very busy and I have another large transaction that is consuming my time. The transaction is scheduled to close July 21 but will likely slide a week or two, possibly more. Anyway, I cannot commit to travel until mid to late August and Kristofer has football starting up at school. I wrote Coach Tressel to apologize and confirmed that Kristofer will make it out for an official visit and, assuming scheduling allows, another unofficial visit during the season.

It just goes to show how sensitive internet boards can be...Kris did a good job of explaining that his brother simply comes to places like BP to clarify things when they get blown out of proportion or Kris gets misquoted/misinterpreted...

Kris has been named a 5-star OL by Scout. Anthony Davis was as well.

Odowd has great athleticism and strength. He can be a dominating blocker at times and just needs to work on being more consistent and bringing "it" on every play. O'Dowd finishes well on his blocks and can display a real mean streak at times. His technique is very refined for the high school level. O'Dowd should make a smooth transition to college ball. Salpointe is well known for producing offensive lineman and O'Dowd may be the best one to ever play for the Lancers.
