From Irish Eyes...Kris' coach talks a lot about Kris' size, frame, drive, etc. He is most interested in USC, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan and Arizona (OSU and Michigan State are his only offers so far). Kris has a 3.25 GPA.

Yeah but how many guys from the Left coast come all the way just for a camp that they have to pay for. They will come for an official b/c that is paid for.

Well of course there are exceptions like Scwartz, but he loved the buckeyes.

I have to disagree...players come from out of state all the time to attend camp in Columbus because they can use it as an opportunity to be evaluated by the coaches at OSU and also a chance to see the campus, many for the first time. Henton (GA), Becker (MN), Spearman (NJ), Oglesby (WI), Wallace (MD), Weber (MN), Haynes (FL), Edds (IN), Aldridge (IN), Larimore (IN) and Powell (KY) are just some of the out-of-staters that came to camp last year (and that is not mentioning the kids from PA). The year before that there were nearly 30 kids from states like Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, California and Washington in attendence, including half a dozen kids from Canada.

You just proved his point

Of the players you just mentioned not one was from West of the Mississippi River. The furthest was Henton and he needed the pub. We need linemen. He doesn't have to pay his way to get here to prove that.

Yeah well O'Dowd already has the offer, so he doesnt need to get evaluated.

I guess you missed the part of his post that said:

"The year before that there were nearly 30 kids from states like Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, California and Washington in attendence, including half a dozen kids from Canada."

Last time I checked, Nebraska, Iowa, California, and Washington were all west of the Mississippi.
