I saw that too over on BN's... however the poster also stated that he got that info from Big Bro over here on BP... and checking over this thread I see no mention of the news, so I guess we'll just have to wait for Big Bro to stop in again and update us, unless anyone else has anything to add.

It is true that Kristofer will not make it out until the Fall, but it is completely my fault. I began to make the travel arrangements; however, a large project I am working on is lingering. As a result, I cannot finalize any travel plans until the transaction gets worked out. The transaciton was originally projected to close early to mid-July but won't close until some time in August, perhaps September. Anyway, I am unable to leave over the next several weeks and by the time my schedule frees up, Kristofer is in the middle of practices for the Fall season.

It's alright BigBro... Just make sure he gets here for an official visit! Penn St. and Michigan weekends would be nice :biggrin:.

Wish Kristofer the best of luck on his season from the family here at BP, and we hope to hear about his official being set soon.

I cannot tell you how much abuse Kristofer is receiving over the "operas and broadway play" article. Actually, I was at the front of the line in abusing him on this one ... followed by our dad and one of his cousins. But, for the record ... Kristofer's mother made the quotes about plays, operas, etc. I honestly doubt Kristofer could name three operas or Broadway plays, and I am certain he has not seen three operas or Broadway plays. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Kristofer has gone through several interviews and he has looked bad in a few of them because of: writers misquoting him; a quote taken out of context (e.g., Columbus is a great little town); and sometimes, like many of us, he makes a dumb statement. However, his mother's quote has taken it to a whole new level ... and now Kristofer is catching grief from anyone and everyone for sounding like a giant pansy ... not that there is anything wrong with operas, Broadway or pansies.<o:p></o:p>

To set the record straight, Kristofer is not an opera goer, play enthusiast, or wine and cheese aficionado, I don't think he is opposed to those things, but it isn't his focus in life. Kristofer likes football, he likes girls, he likes avoiding menial labor, he likes late night food, he likes sleeping until noon, in short, he is a normal teenage "dude"/ "guy".<O:p></O:p>

Not to worry, I think his mother was meaning well with those statements and anybody with a mother recognized that. All mothers want their children to have a well rounded life experience. Experiencing operas, plays etc. is perfectly fine.

Hey, as long as he cracks some skulls for the Scarlet & Gray on Saturdays, he can go to as many plays and operas as he wants...:biggrin:

It's all good. I enjoy a good play and I don't think of myself as a pansy and I'm an expert on myself:biggrin: . It's all good BigBro we don't think any less of him. Are you 2 still planning on a Columbus visit soon?
