I guess I'm pretty green to the board too, because what the hell is vBet? By the way, here's the CFN preview of Texas. It's not "officially" up on their site yet but somehow a guy on HornFans.com found it and posted it.

Well BuckeyeTrail, I'll just say the only game I saw the Buckeyes play last year was against Wisconsin and from what I saw I have nothing to worry. Man, y'all gave up 168 yards to Davis and he's got nothing on Vince Young. Y'all better watch out because that kind of run defense will lead to a...

Ok... so the first version I found only had one verse and this one has the first verse also... but yes, this is their official song. Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck Hullabaloo, Caneck, Caneck All hail to dear old Texas A&M Rally around Maroon and White Good luck to dear old Texas Aggies They...

I don't see the similarities to Aggies that some people are talking about on HornFans.com. Maybe some guys talked to BuckeyeBoy and took him to be the average Ohio State fan :D. As for what being an Aggy really is, well I'll do my best. They're kind of like the little brother of a guy who's...

Huff is arguably the fastest player on our entire team (its between him and Ramonce Taylor) and Cedric Griffin is a speedster too. I'm not sure about Brown, Kelson, or Michael Griffin. We have definitely switched to a larger secondary in the last few years, Kelson continues that at 6-2 210lbs. I...

Here's a comparison of the secondaries, it has the stats from CFB.com for your projected starters and last years stats for the top four returning secondary players from UT. This is not a list of our projected starters but the stats for the best four returning players. Andrew Kelson (soph.)...

I can see what you're saying about playmakers. We've got the huge threat in Vince and then the list falls off quickly. Ramonce Taylor might really light teams up next year but he hasn't been tested as a full time back yet. David Thomas is a big time threat but he's a tight end and only gets...

From the Ohio St. preview on College Football News... This just got me thinking and maybe I'm biased (of course I'm biased) but I disagree. I think we've both got talent coming out of our ears but I think Texas has a slight edge. Which may or may not equal a win in September. Here's my rundown...

Bevo XIV is a bad man. 11-1 at this point and looking to be 24-1 pretty soon. Seriously though, I'm not much of a fan of making up shirts for games but at least y'all haven't made dumbass shirts making fun of Texas yet. Arkansas fans all had ridiculous shirts on and it just proved that their...

Yes. After the 1998 season everyone was talking about how we were going to have a dramatic drop-off offensively because we were losing Ricky Williams. Well we had a drop-off of 50 ypg and 2 points per game, with a running back named Hodges Mitchell who gained 1,343 yards. Not a dramatic...

Sorry this thing is so damn long. So I went through some stats from last year (actually a lot of stats) and I’m curious about your home field advantage. I only looked at defensive stats because defense is what I have heard most often from posters as your great home strength. There are a few...

    05 Texas ineligible for BCS

I'm not saying Mack is without faults but we were JUST in a BCS game. It just makes his quote completely asinine. Congrats on your BCS appearances but that doesn't mean our trip to the Rose Bowl was pointless.

    05 Texas ineligible for BCS

This guy's a quack and this won't get anywhere. I heard about this a few weeks ago and just blew it off. There are some other politicians in other states trying it as well, it seems like it's just a way for them to get their name in the papers. Just curious, but what BCS bowl did Tressell...

I'd say the same for you about coming down to the State Fair of Texas and witnessing first hand the chaos that is the Red River Shootout. I know we haven't done well recently but it is still the most impressive game I've ever been to. In fact, I may be the curse because the only times I've been...

It wasn't far from it. On the walk into the stadium there were guys set up on the side of the road heckling Texas fans and you could tell they weren't going to the game or went to Arkansas. They were just a bunch of hicks sitting around their pick-up trucks with their shirts off yelling at...

I'd second the view on Arkansas. There's nothing quite as disturbing as 84,000 hicks all yelling "WOOOO, PIG SOOOOEY" in unison. That was definitely creepy. Where Tech fans can be unnerving if their team is doing well, they absolutely folded as a crowd once we went up 14 last season. Those...

I know I said that we beat out Nebraska in all time wins, but the reason that point was made was to show we were well ahead of Auburn. #3 or #4, it doesn't matter that much, I'm not really trying to prove we're better than Nebraska, just Auburn. As far as my comparison to Tech fans, it's not...

I looked at those sites earlier today as well. During the Rose Bowl though, ABC mentioned more than once that UT was tied for 3rd with Nebraska. After the win we nudged them out. It's weird though, because I checked the official UT site and they have us at 787 total wins...

Do y'all have to bring in lights for night games? I heard that you did, but wasn't sure if that was true or not. I know Ohio State is legendary as a big party school, so I can see what you're talking about with a crazy crowd. Texas Tech is probably the best comparison for a crazy crowd Texas...

With our Rose Bowl victory we moved out of a tie with Nebraska to take sole ownership of #3 all time wins. Auburn is a good program, but they are not on the same level as Texas.
