Interesting, but take historical December 5's at 8pm in Columbus and compare to last Thursday...
2019: 38F
2020: 35
2021: 54
2022: 45
2023: 36
2024: 23
The 2019 to 2023 average for 12/5 at 8pm was 41.6 prior to last Thursday's 23 degrees. This month appears to be different. Maybe due to a...
Welp, Day and Kelly used four quarters of football to see what does not work to gain yardage against an elite defensive line. Hopefully they don't need more time experimenting with constantly running up the middle.
Folks keep referring back to the bolded and with good reason. What I haven't seen mentioned was the fact that Noah nailed a field goal from almost that exact spot with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter, if memory serves. He just booted a line drive right through. And that was right after Marvin...
If Howard had a concussion, wouldn't he have worn dark shades at the postgame presser? Concussion recovery = 2+ days in the dark. Or would he have even done the presser at all?
100. We saw how much the "not tough" talk gets to Day after the Notre Dame game when he asked if we had heard what Lou Holtzth said about his team. Scum started saying it in 2021, and Chip Kelly wasn't here for any of it. They are in Day's head. There is no reason as far as I am concerned for...
This is where I'm at, as well. I don't remember OSU players talking shit after beating them, but they've done plenty since ending their drought against us. And the fans, with their lying - "OSU fans spitting on our players (years ago I guess?)," "Marcus Hall spit on our fans and flipped us...
Two days after this inexplicable loss it has become clear, in my opinion, the game plan was Day's and Chip had not much input. Kelly would have made more common sense decisions. Scum has lived in Ryan's head since '21 with the 'not tough' talk. If those who are saying he was just trying to prove...
That's true. I remember he was the third or fourth candidate for the job when they hired Tressel. Awfully large coincidence he's relocated up there, and haven't heard him 97.1 in many years, though... Feels like he ghosted us. You may well be right, though.
Someone said on facebitch that OSU planted their flag up in the Shithouse one of those years they won. Is that true. Oddly, I don't recall that ever happening.
That would be my preference if he hadn't grown up a hard core scUM fan. He attended OSU only because his dad forced an ultimatum on him. I think he's loving his life in that state up north, if he's still with the Lions. Weird.
The best redemption is living well, and in this case that means winning the natty. It's entirely possible given how well this defense has played since Oregon. It will be interesting to see how much of the sting goes away if they do.
Anyways, if Day fails at saving his job, maybe Marcus Freeman...
That Game should have been a pretty easy victory fot OSU. Jeremiah was single covered quite a bit when not targeted. Throw him open...
Something always happens to Day's teams in huge games... terrible officiating, Will's shoulder might be injured, OL injury,... and lack of an ability to adjust...
