Does Michigan think that nobody else stretches?
Michigan: 30 minutes of stretching not counted, followed by 2 hour workout
University who read the manual: 30 minutes of stretching, followed by 90 minute workout
Net result: Michigan gets 30 extra minutes of workout.
We're getting punished for making kids stretch and go to class / This isn't even a real news story / FreeP just made up some stuff because they have a vendetta / Everybody does worse than what we did / We're Michigan
Michigan is really doing themselves a disservice by carrying the water for Rrod. This has to be his response, but it doesn't have to be the university's response.
You need to find out more about how she has things organized. Is she doing Chapter 11 for herself or for her business? Do you know these 36 other people?
But who are the CAvs going to sign-and-trade? Not Shaq or Z (no bird rights on Z I don't believe). The team has an option on Delonte West but he isn't worth $4.5M to anyone else while his legal situation is still going.
Even without Shaq and Z the Cavs will be over the salary cap if they keep Lebron. So really they only have $5M (the midlevel exception) to work with as far as signing free agents. Cavs used the Bi-annual exception to resign Ilgauskas.
Really not a lot of wiggle room to change the roster via...
He accounted for just shy of 20% of their offensive production in the super bowl. It isn't like the Saints lit it up in the Super Bowl. Has to be among the most-maligned 20% production in a Super Bowl ever.
AJ Hawk isn't set to make anywhere near $8M next year.
I don't see why the term bust...
Well, let's see what the Saints think about Bush. Reggie made $2.6M last year and is under contract for $8M in 2010 and $11.8M in 2011. His cap number in 2011 will be $16M.
Now the problem with cutting or trading big contracts in the NFL is that such actions result in an immediate salary...
17 rushes, 117 yards (6.9 avg), 1TD
10 receptions, 95 yards (9.5 avg), 1TD
5 punt returns, 113 yards (22.6 avg), 1TD
325 yards and 3TDs in 3 playoff games is not too shabby. It would certainly be "proving the haters wrong" on this board if we were talking about an OSU alum.
So what is so unduly unfair about throwing a towel that it makes it "bushleague"? I don't know if fans would be allowed to throw a towel in the air, but I suspect such a prohibition has nothing to do with it being unfair or bushleague, but rather because of other considerations.
The NBA...
Is throwing towels in the air somehow the line not to cross in free throw distractions? How is it any less distracting than this:
YouTube - KU Fans during free throw
Mark Cuban gets fined for bashing officiating because the NBA prohibits owners and employees from bashing officiating.
It might be silly for an NBA GM to do that, but how is it bush league or unsportsmanlike? Fans wave their arms, wave signs, wave thunder sticks, jump around, etc.
But that dude wasn't doing zigzags through the outfield. He didn't even leave the stands. The Gamboa incident is a better example, but those guys made a beeline for the guy.
I've yet to see violence from someone who runs onto the field and then proceeds to try to evade security.
