Lightfoot had a big game as a speed rusher off the edge. He was just running right past the tackle at times.
KVA had a good game, including a couple impressive plays stuffing the run.
Koi Perich was MVP. He had a ridiculous diving interception on deep pass to JJ Smith that was all but a...
How about be upfront and ask the guy himself if that was a real concern? Bcuz it wasn’t. It was about NIL. These recruits’ parents are teaching them all the wrong ways to prioritize and view money. Just imagine how these guys are gonna act if they make it to the NFL? They’ll be holding out till...
Dead serious. Came from a random and unexpected, yet reliable source. I was surprised. If he does play then he had a change of heart. But as of right now the plan is for him to opt out.
Look for Cade to opt out of the bowl game. Maybe we’ll get a good dose of Thurman and witness a coming out party for the kid. In the meantime Cade earned this decision and must be expecting to go early on day two of the draft. And now I’m wondering who else is gonna sit this one out…
There was s kid dressed just like JJ Smith at the skull session, head gear and all, but also had a blanket wrapped around himself when they first walked in. He looked super bored and uninterested as they left St. John arena but if it was in fact him then I guess he felt he’d seen everything...
There’s talk over on 11W board that the staff is growing concerned about his frequent visits to Auburn. I know it was said even before he committed that there would be a trip or two to Auburn that we shouldn’t be worried about. But apparently Birm is now even feeling concerned bcuz he said the...
Same here. I barely have an arch to begin with so by my mid 20s I had orthotics and slept in a boot overnight to stretch the muscles in my feet. The boots I wore in the military were why mine flared up so early. Super painful. So I could see this preventing Henderson from exercising precise...
It was just an observation I’ve noticed over time, as opposed to teams like ttun who offer kids they should know they have zero shot at. Bama does it time to time I think just to ruffle feathers around the WHAC. And I’m sure a lot of other programs “waste time” on committed recruits. But kudos...
Seems like the staff typically offers kids committed elsewhere only if they feel there’s a legit chance at flipping them. Add to that he’s now scheduled an official for The Game, is that the vibe around the WHAC?
Loved seeing that. But leave it to the dynamic duo of Gus and Joel to shout out only his dad and stepmom as Kam’s parents during the broadcast and leave out his biological mom, Alana, the one he went to and hugged after his TD. Super happy for both of them.
Not sure OSU really pursued him and this explains why. Bill Greene used to talk about how much McClain loved OSU, according to his Florida sources. And now he goes from a heavy Florida lean to a “da U” commit after they flash some green. Day and Co. knew they were dodging a bullet. IMO
Up until recently the sense was ND had the edge in his recruitment. I think OSU hosted him on his OV during one of the huge recruiting weekends in June 17 or June 24 and has not only made up significant ground on the Irish but apparently passed them up.
Weird that he’d specifically single out OSU in a tweet like that. Then says they’re “still a top school.” Maybe he feels like he’s seen all he needs to see?
