Thank you very much. We work really hard every day to make everything as good as it can be. It personally means a lot that someone appreciates it. I'll pass the word along and again, thank you.
Singles: The district final should be a repeat of a sectional final between Olentangy Liberty senior Arren Carter and Worthington Kilbourne senior Kevin Metka. Carter, a three-time state qualifier, won 6-4, 6-2. Metka is a future Ohio State player who won the doubles state title last season.
There is a kid by the name of Carter who goes to Olentangy Liberty that is very good. Don't know what year he is or Ohio State's involvement but he is the real deal. The best high school team in the Columbus area is Dublin Jerome. Don't know about their individual players but they waxed Gahanna who has some very good players in its own right.
Forgot to tell you that Diaz is like a wall. Gets everything and sends it back. Not a power player but a very good one. Don't know about the kid from Indiana. I see where he is #1 in the Great Lakes region for his age group. Don't know about those rankings on that site because of some of the kids I personally know about and where they are ranked. The USTA juniors might be a better barometer for how good a cadence going to be.
Diaz from Watterson. Here in Columbus. Best junior in the state of Ohio and might be the best high school player in the state. Supposedly gave verbal to Tucker.
Only know of Chad because he played my grandson's team. The recruiting network shows him as a fast rising junior but he is only a sophomore. I would have to think that is brother would have some influence on his college decision if the Buckeyes go after him.
hey, the eagles will make their pick shortly, hopefully the packers do shortly after that... then you're up. feel free to PM it if you won't be around at 4-6 pm.
