I see your point--a monkey is a beard all over. Perhaps you could have gone for the non beard beard. Shaved a beard onto the monkey. I'm no beard expert though.
I just remember it being really rubbery/chewy and moving around in my mouth, there wasn't much of a taste because they just pulled it out of the water. There wasn't much of an aftertaste, just after sensation. Ahhhhhh!!

I'd be embarrassed to admit how little I've traveled so you're doing just fine in Korea no matter what you're doing.
I'd like to say that I made the most out of my experience in Korea, but the idea of chowing down on Fido is just too much for me.
Some fresh scallions, red onions. First 2 in moderate amounts. Light soy with plenty of wasabi mixed with Mayo. Preferably Trader Joe's Tongol as the tuna and you have one hell of a tuna salad sandwhich. TJ's wasabi mayo is minor league compared to making your own.
