Yeah, I'm the same way. My first job was at the local "cheap seats" theater. I watched about three hundred movies, or more, in one year. Since then...maybe twenty.

I still haven't seen The Big Lebowski...Fargo...among many, many others that people seem to love.

I'll try to check that out. I loved playing baseball when I was a kid but I have a hard time watching now. Baseball movies are cool though.

I saw Gladiator for the first time about a month ago. I ain't exactly up to date on my movie watching. This time of the year is the best for me to catch up.

Goonies is one of the few movies I have on DVD...love it! Hey, you ever seen Just One of the Guys? My other 80's favorite.

Baseball was my first love. I was a bat boy for my older brothers team when I was four, and I played from the age of six. I fucking loved that movie when I was a kid, and I had no clue Basinger was in it until tonight. I always remember him being with some ugly chick, turns out I was right. Glenn Close. Fuckin' yuck.

I'm the same way with movies. If not for gemmy, I'd never have seen but four or five really "good movies" in my life.

My dad bought a VCR when they first came out. Ours had a remote...that was attached by a cord to the VCR. I tripped over it the first week we had it, and broke that fucker. My dad was notorious for getting drunk and taping movies on t.v. for us kids. The tracking would be all fucked up and there would be parts of commercials throughout.

It didn't stop me from watching The Goonies damn near every day of my childhood. Damn I love that movie.

Seems like the better the movie the less likely it is that I've seen it. So no, I haven't. Have to agree with you about Kim Basinger. Didn't even realize she was in that.

Have you ever seen The Natural? It's on TCM right now, and I forgot how fucking awesome it is. I LOVED this movie when I was a kid, and it's actually better now that I truly appreciate how hot a young Kim Basinger was. Damn.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best nights. Especially after 10 PM. You have a handful of people there for one reason - to get drunk. No cocksuckers there trying to look pretty or eat dinner.

I wasn't too worried about it, but it was kind of annoying. Draft beer is the greatest and I didn't get it. Some bullshit.

But like you, I just wanted beer at that point. It was busy and they were taking forever.
