That kind of rep happens when someone doesn't have enough positive rep to hand any out. If a poster were in the red, or had only one green chicklet, and gave you rep, it would show up as white.
Congrats Mike:bow: LadyB sends her love to Jackie also a big hug for the bun in the oven.
OK so green reputation is good, red is bad - what the hell is white? I got a white mark. I tried to figure out how to give someone a white mark, but I can't figure it out. WTF is it?
You dad is prime example #1 of why it is painful to even think about. He has watched a lot of years of shit baseball/football/basketball/etc. Makes my 30 years look like nothing,
I've had this conversation with my Dad. He had season tickets during the Jim Brown days. He watched the championship game win over the Colts. He talks about the '54 Indians and that Willie Mays catch. No one would ever question his loyalty but he's so defeated when we talk about Cleveland sports, especially football. I feel bad for him and the city of Cleveland. He says I wouldn't feel that way if the Browns beat the Steelers more regularly than they do.
You know what, that is sad. Trying to stand back and look at this objectively, the rivalry is dying because one team is not holding up their end of the bargain. Someone on the Browns' board asked the other day if the Browns were losing fans. Of course, several of the longtime posters shouted "NO!!!". But you can't help but wonder about the younger generation. Why would they root for this loser? Why would they root for a team that can't do anything right and gets no breaks? I've been a fan for over 30 years and I'm beginning to question my allegiance. What the fuck have they done for me besides tear my heart out?
Maybe because my Dad is a big Browns/Indians/Cavs fan or because they really haven't been a thorn in the Steelers' side but I've never had a problem with Cleveland. I actually root for them when the Steelers aren't involved. Don't tell anyone.
