I think it a shame that Urban burned out. Having him return to tOSU from UF would have been epic. THAT would have elevated our fanbase to some serious bad blood. 
I don't think Tress lied. But I do not doubt the possibility that his staff or players threw him under the bus with less than total disclosure - and that he may have wanted to believe what he was told by someone he trusted.
I was going to go with this whole thing being "The curse of finally beating an SEC Team!!!" - but then I remembered that I did not want a ruby rep color and a 365 day vacation. IOW.....too soon. :p
